Ever since 2.0 (Skills & Combat Re-Balance), this game has easily turned into one of my favourite games of all time. Is it still a bit jank sometimes? Yes. Is it what they initially promised at E3? (All actions have consequences?) Not really, but that doesnt detract from it anymore.

The best analog I have for this game is it's similar to Skyrim with the majority of its choices, though there are around a dozen endings (More in the DLC). The way you interact with the friendly clans in the game can affect which choices you have available to you in the late-game, not to mention cars and unique items that can be acquired from them.

With a little over half of the "choices" in the game, the consequences are usually surface level at best, maybe giving you a skip for a later mission, or just letting you acquire a unique item. But the way you navigate your relationships with certain important characters can decide their involvement in the final act, and ultimately decided which endings you'll have available to choose from.

All that said, I ultimately don't mind this, because the story is very engaging all the way through, especially some of the side quests and gigs you can do. Gigs and side quests are two different types of quests, side quests usually being story focused, whilst gigs being more gameplay focused, such as breaking into a joint and klepping a car or data from a computer. Side quests on the other hand never fail to impress how equally good and engaging their stories are compared to the main questline. I wont spoil any of them, go see for yourself!

Gigs I feel are mostly done very well, as there are a large majority of ways to break into somewhere, such as guns blazing running through the front door and gunning everyone down, or spending the time to walk around the building and find an open window or vent. (Which yes, most gigs have options like these)

Granted, the launch was awful, and the gameplay was unintuitive at times, and uninteresting. But now, with the perk and combat rebalance being done a while ago, I find gameplay addicting and engaging, no matter which playstyle I choose. The perk trees are fantastic, and very reminiscent of Borderlands 2 and 3, with how much they boost or affect your playstyle, and practically every mission in the game caters to every playstyle available to you.

Yes this game may be limited in scope compared to the original promises of the first gameplay preview a couple years back, but outside of actual simulation games, it doesnt matter. Cyberpunk has become an instant classic for me, and I know ill have the itch to come back and play it for years to come, similar to Skyrim.

If you see this on sale, you wont regret buying it.

Game is great, but the developers don't seem to playtest any weapons or systems they add (Recent addition being the DSS, which after 2 months of waiting, is both severely underwhelming, and an actual hinderance to missions).

Im done ping-ponging back and forth between "Well implemented addition" and "Did they even play-test this?"

Wait 2-3 years to buy this, unless it goes on sale. And as far as im aware, the region restrictions still havent been lifted.

This game is very fun, but can get a bit stale quickly. That being said, I can see a huge amount of potential here, and if you aren't sold on the cheap price point, I'd say keep an eye on this one. The game as is, is very polished in it's presentation and performance, and the only thing I'd really like to see is just more content, which im sure will come with more time.

This game is really charming, and the dynamic OST is so soothing. Feels like i'm in a dream when playing this. I absolutely can't wait for the full release!
