Can't get any further without the game crashing. Which is honestly for the best.

Very fun

Very fun. Even though it's free to play was happy to spend some money on it.

Very fleshed out and decent amount of updates.

Doesn't allow cross platform play with the microsoft store.

Otherwise it's a great game.

Game crashes every few minutes/autosave. Seems to be a common issue.

Edit: This can be solved by going to the file "StubbsTheZombieSub.exe", right click, compatibility & set it to "run this program in compatibility mode for windows 7" [Yes, even on windows 10]

Game still crashes occasionally but is at least playable.

Unplayable.

Animation/gameplay must me linked to framerate or something because it's insanely fast. Starting a game just leads to a "game over" screen. That is all lives lost in the blink of an eye.. Opening the game just flickers between the menu and leaderboard at lightning speed.

An old game showing it's age isn't unexpected; but this isn't old it's dead.

10 minutes long. Game play is move sideways and hold down fire. Story is basic. And apparently not the game I got in some bundle years ago.

Visuals are the best part of the whole game. So if you have seen the screenshots, you don't need to play the game.

Has something to do with an ARG but I've no interest in going down that rabbit hole.

Actually quite spooky. Which I can't say about most horror games I've played.

Also fun with friends, especially when whispering "behind you" to them during tense moments. Or making the grudge noise.

It's just kind of tedious.

Played on nightmare mode an there is no challenge. Most enemies are dead before they get a chance to do anything and it doesn't take long to get the overpowered weapons. Ammo is essentially infinite and areas are wide open, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. It's the same three levels on repeat and they get shorter each time. Repeating the exact same actions.

Story is kind of lacking. It's very much the bare minimum. There are a few moment were the enemy taunts you, which are actually decent. But all the other characters are shallow, stilted and barely even move. There was at least one line that made me laugh. It has few nods to the old game but I'd have liked to have had something more than background stuff. The ending was not worth it.

I appreciate they tried to go for a different style but I'm not exactly sure they pulled of the style/styles they were going for.

Overall this feels like the concept for a game that got rushed out, rather than a finished product.

Although it does have a damn good soundtrack.
