A really fun and interesting take on the RTS genre. So long as you don't let its pretty unforgiving difficulty send you into a fit, there is a lot of satisfaction in being able to finally get that perfect defense against hordes and hordes of zombies. The Campaign especially leaves for a huge amount of replayablity with a nonlinear approach to tackling missions combined with a researchable tech tree that you can cater to your personal play style.

I never really had any interest in Civilization before getting Civ V in a humble bundle a few years ago. After being insisted to play it with a bunch of friends who also got said bundle, I thought "What the hell, nothing to lose, right? One game won't hurt."

1k Hours (as of this writing), and all the expansions+dlc later, I can safely say I have since changed my mind about these games.
