Fun game. It can be a little bit of a grind but the returns on your grind are nice and make it feel worthwhile to fly around and blow up some filthy Xenos. I'm also a bit of a min/max nut, so I tweaked on my ships and what not. In particular I enjoyed the random things that happened, Super Solder Cadet Bucky Rogers for example. I kept yelling BUCKY IS GOING BUCKWILD AT THE BASE to my girlfriend, she wasn't particularly enthused, but it tickled me.. and I think that's what is important. There is obviously room for gameplay improvment and A LOT of room for more randomness/fun stuff/jokes, which I kind of found made the grind a lot less grindy feeling. The dev team seems pretty amped people like their game, as such the "feel" I get is we're going to see some pretty cool stuff to come. I can see how the game isn't for everyone, but if you're a bit of a sci-fi nerd I think you'll have least be able to justify what you spent on the purchase. Frankly I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next big update, they appear to be fleshing out skill tree's and a variety of other things. If I had to have a criticism (and this may be different on higher skill settings, first playthrough was commander to figure out what was going on) I would like to know a bit more about what it is we really fought at the end and how that all came about. Also the Vo'rash ? Sup with them? In summary, I wholeheartedly endorse the game and look forward to incoming updates and playing it on higher skill levels.

The game has been fun so far. I'm not overly far into it, but i'm enjoying the actual game.

That said, uPlay is miserable. I sort of bought this on a whim after watching the trailer video when it was on sale, so I didn't even notice this was something I had to deal with. Live and learn. What I learned is I'll never buy another game that requires uPlay. This is why Origin isn't installed on my system anymore. At this point I don't care if uPlay and Origin make my PC faster and increase the overall size of my genitalia, you and your miserable DRM can rot.

Not the devs fault. You made what seems to be a neat game, sorry you work for Ubisoft.
