I'll update if they fix it, maybe. Shame they can't lean on established cloud tech like Azu... oh... wait...

EDIT: I bought the game again after reading that the servers are performing better. But now it stops loading at 87%. After reading up on it it is because of my high core count CPU model, so i refunded again.

EDIT: They fixed the issue causing the game to crash at 80%, but now it's unplayable framerates every time i try it. I very much regret buying this and hope they allocate some resources to actually making this playable.

EDIT: After the beta update, the game became significantly more stable, and i have put in a lot of hours in the fenix a320, however i still face extremely bad performance issues. Frames drop to 30-40fps (with manual DLSS path to 2.4.12.0, the bundled DLSS causes major stutters on my system) set to balanced, framegen enabled, meaning 15-20 REAL frames on my threadripper, 128GB RAM, 4080 system. Problem i know the issue is server side, because the next day i will fly the same route, same plane, with 90+fps. Changing graphic settings also has 0 impact on the framerate. If i'm sitting at 30fps, dropping the graphics to low, with ultra performance DLSS and framegen, i will maybe get 35 instead of 30.

This game is far, far from finished and i wish i had refunded it and just continued with MSFS2020. At the time of writing i have 500+ hours in MSFS2024 and i would recommend everyone to save themselves the frustrations and stick with MSFS2020. It's been 4 months since release and i would classify it as barely playable.

Not sure how i put almost 100hrs in this, i guess i kept expecting something to happen. Anyways, Starfield misses the mark for me in so many ways. Where Skyrim/oblivion/fallout manages to capture and hold my attention, Starfield does not. To me, this game is missing it's soul. Very disappointed.

Everything is a grind, there's no end goal, you just unlock more grinding. I have a couple hundred hours on record but i feel pretty done now. Really wish this wasn't the case as there are aspects i love. Also **** engineering.
