This is "Filler: The survival game"

I don't really get the appeal, you just wander from one place to the next, and none of the locations are particularly interesting to encourage exploration or "discovery"

It is very mildly satisfying to fill up my meters, find a place to warm up and drink/eat/sleep until im safe again. But then what? Wander somewhere else and do it again. These temperature, hunger, thirst, sleeping mechanics are typically there in other games to put pressure on the gameplay loop. Things to keep an eye on and manage while you play the other parts of the game that are interesting. But this game has none of those. Once you fill up your meters, you're now free to...? Do nothing. Walk. Find more food and drink.

I don't understand the wide appeal of this game, I prefer my games to be more than just filler.

very little loot anywhere, nearly impossible to not immediately starve after spawning. if you do get lucky to find a half damaged apple laying somewhere, youve spent all your time searching for it and are now lacking in one of the other necessary systems to survive.

I can't really comment on the game itself as I havent gotten a chance to really play it. Ive just run around for 8 hours looking for food. I think the longest I survived was a couple hours after getting lucky enough to find a piece of fruit and a can of tuna, and then I got sick quite literally out of nowhere (wasnt eating, wasnt getting attacked, wasnt wet or cold) and then threw up all the food and water and shortly died because no loot spawns anywhere and I couldnt find medicine in a hospital.

Game is close to being fun. It has a good atmosphere and it feels nice to run around but the entire thing is just really poorly made lol. Zombies glitch and teleport behind you, attack inconsistently, etc. There's just so much jank. Janky games can be enjoyable but this one needs to be PLAYABLE first.

One thing I really like about these types of games is that the only people who really play them are the kinds of people who like to talk.

All the people I've "talked to" so far in this game have all had something to say, no matter the topic. There's always some story or personal opinion they have to share. It never feels like dead conversation.

This game is very cute, it has a fair amount of customization as well. The questions the game asks you to answer and respond to can be specific but still open ended. There were several questions I wasn't expecting, either, that made me have to think. Things i haven't really thought about so far.

If you wanna just type personal ♥♥♥♥ out and know someone else is gonna read it, give this game a go. It's relaxing and i enjoyed reading about other people's lives.

very relaxing, fun, cute. seems like there is a lot to do. If you enjoy Runescape you may get similar vibes from this game. Would highly recommend at least giving it a shot since it's free. Also the NPCs are all cute and adorable. I will be marrying the robot.

The movement and combat are fun, the characters and writing are likable and on-par with what I expected from Rocksteady given their track record. Unfortunately the performance is extremely mid, sometimes unusable.
There's no normal anti aliasing options, just a combination of dynamic anti aliasing and dynamic resolution scaling.
If you leave these off, the game looks like ass and runs like ass. If you turn them on, unless you have an incredible CPU, you'll be met with extremely jittery and frequent dynamic scaling issues that cause your game to render in 480p one second and 1080p the next with no signs of stopping.

It's a shame, I'd like to enjoy this game but not enough care or or effort was put into making it a playable product.

does not listen to community, hard to attribute to ignorance at this point.

Very fun! Like most roguelites, it's definitely a "just one more run" kind of game, so be careful lol.

Look, if you look at this game and think you'll like it, you probably will. It's cheap and it's one of THOSE games, you know the ones. They're just fun and addicting, fun art style, good vibes all around.

There's a lot of keywords to understand and learn when you first start out. There's still some stuff I'm a bit confused by.

Seems like it has a good amount of content for the price, a good amount of maps and difficulties. There also appears to be these sort of "tutorial"-ish modifiers where you can pick to primarily play with certain kind of bumpers to help you learn how each specific kind of bumpers work well off eachother. For example, the first one it has selected for your first run by default I think gives you primarily bumpers that help keep your balls in play for longer. So once you get the hang of that, moving on to the other kinds of bumpers, youll know how to keep it in the air longer already and can build off that.

One other small thing I noticed is that you can share screenshots of your board and it looks like if you take someone's screenshot they shared with you, you can import it directly into the game and it will let you access the board set up that they were using in this lab mode. Really cool for sharing different ideas and learning how the game works!

Would recommend!

completely broken now, stuck on "press any key to continue" before i even reach the main menu, have tried all online solutions and nothing work. it is crazy how often games workshop games ♥♥♥♥ the bed at some point in their lifetime and they're never fixed.

Add this sad title to the large pile of warhammer games forever lost to an IP holder who fails to maintain the standards that an incredible universe like WH40K deserves
