overall I'd say I like it but don't love it. as someone with no nostalgia really for the n64 aki games, I will say that i'm still having a good time with it, though.

+ bell to bell gameplay is really fun
+ easy to pick up and play, but has depth once you learn all of the controls
+ fun seeing and playing as my favorite AEW wrestlers officially in a game
+ career mode is really fun, love the aspects of sightseeing, working out, doing press, etc. It's similar to the F1 career mode a bit in structure with some Yakuza side story goofiness thrown in. I really love it!

- that said, the career mode is too short! I was able to finish my first playthrough in just a few hours.
- creation tools are severely lacking
- more modes and match types would be welcomed
- generally just feels a little rough around the edges (in a way that is generally endearing to me but does sting a bit as a $60 game)
