The client used to be abysmal and would crash constantly. It's finally playable and while I'm still not jazzed up about paying almost full price for packs that aren't the same size its a decent enough game if you like limited.

A unique game that plays kind of like a crossword puzzle RPG. You're trying to figure out the next skill for each of your characters and are given letters as rewards for winning combat and solving riddles. The game starts pretty rough and doesn't hold your hand. It took me a while to figure out the first move for my party but once I did the game flow made a lot more sense. Big fan of this game even after finding out it wasn't ai but actually hand crafted respones.

Also it has a card minigame. Very good.

Surprisingly fun janky kart racer. The game punishes you for going fast and will attack you for daring to use a powerup. Its way more fun that I expected.

Cool concept but the actual gameplay loop sucks. You can pretend stealth for a few minutes but eventually you'll have to bunker down and fight fast moving enemies in strobing lights and no ammo.

I'm one of those people who bought the game I think 4 times now. I love it so much.

The comparison to Paper Mario is inevitable (especially since the original name of this game was Paper bugs) but Bug Fables has its own identity.
I was worried when I first started playing that the game would stick too close to its inspiration. Some things are basically the same. Medals = badges, the fortune teller, charm seller, a sandcastle rising from the desert, etc.
But Bug Fables opens up and truly becomes its own thing as you continue playing. The game oozes charm and the improvements to the PM combat system allows you to try many different builds throughout the game and adjust the difficulty on the fly with optional "harder" medals.

This is a FULL-SIZE RPG. I kept expecting some of the middle or late game chapters to be condensed but each area of the game felt fleshed out and none of them felt like they ended too soon or stayed too long.

Its an alright indie point and click with good music and art. If you're looking for something in the same feel as early Homestuck this game fails on capturing that hardcore. If you changed the character sprites I would have no reason to think this was a Homestuck inspired game. Most of the fun and creative ideas used in the comics faux-videogamed world aren't present or even attempted.
As someone who read homestuck in its entirety 3 times I'd reccomend skipping out on this game entirely.

Highly reccomend this game. Tons and tons of fun to play both locally and online.
I wouldn't buy this without a small group to play with as the single player is mostly training you for multiplayer games with new sick duck-strats and the online with random players can be pretty laggy.

Incredibly fun battle system. You control a fairy like creature that you can use to heal your team or slow the speed of enemies. As the battle goes on theres a bar at the bottom of the screen that has icons of your party and the enemies go past. Near the end if you manage to hit an enemy during the last moments before their attack, the attack is cancelled and they get pushed back in the time line. However! The same can happen to you. The combat becomes a super in depth game of planning and timing thats really REALLY fun. The only complaint I have about it is that some attacks that enemis do have longer or shorter times when it hits the attack animation so you can plan ahead to be in front and interrupt their attack but they decided to use a much faster attack and knock you back. Really wish they would have implemented a little pop up showing how fast the spell/attack animation is for combat.

But yeah legit 9.5/10 RPG. Also the game is adorable as ♥♥♥♥ yo
