This was once a very good game, and by then I reviewed it as positive. Hunt is unique in its ways, very immersive atmosphere, nice mechanics and such. I never played FPS and since Hunt was my first, I had a hard time to learn the game, but was worth it.

As time passed, Crytek started neglecting very important things, such as banning cheaters, punishing reshaders and toxic people, fixing bugs and even the QoL of the game itself, with very long timespans without relevant updates, maps, mobs or bosses. To this day they never even implemented an anti-camping mechanic. People sit on the bushes with a sniper for 45 mins without even worrying about running the OBJECTIVE. And these people tend to be the apex of toxicity.

Nowadays Crytek spams skin DLCs as a way of filling their pockets, from time to time make some events with battlepass mechanics and so on.

That's why, 4K hours later, I don't recommend this game for anyone. The company is not interested in fixing the most basic problems in this game, and that's the reason it's dying.
