I have never played a game quite like this. This was fantastic. I usually don't like horror as a genre, and even card builders get boring quick for me.

The premise is that you have been abducted by some creepy bearded dude and appear to be trapped in his cabin, defenseless. He is going to kill you. He makes this clear. First, however, he wants you to play his card game: Inscryption. If you lose, you will die. But maybe those who died before you can help you win, and more importantly uncover the truth of what Inscryption really is.

This game was different. Mechanics change dynamically based on choices you make in and out of the actual card game. The experience gets better the further you go.

When this game came out, I heard people saying it should be game of the year. After finally having picked it up and played it, I can say that they were probably right. I can't elaborate further on the plot without spoiling things, just go in with the mindset that you are going to keep going until it's actually over, and dedicate about 12-16 hours to it. You won't regret it.

This game made me want to reinstall Destiny 2. It was... fine. It felt more like Warframe than Destiny and made me miss tight gunplay and squads.

It's fine. It's more like late game Warframe and open zone Destiny from what I experienced, but it's not as polished as either of them. There's plenty of fan service if you want it though.

Beautiful and fascinating interactive documentary of whales on another planet. Short and free. Works on Steamdeck and dock with controller. Only need the 🅰️ button.

I did not overhype the game, and remembered the state of Witcher 3 at launch. It was a buggy mess, but innovative and impressive. Cyberpunk 2077 is much the same. A lot of visual bugs and funny interactions of physics to be had. Occasionally a game breaking bug. But after 20+, I feel like I've barely scraped the surface. The menu says I'm only 1% done, I'm hitting a million side quests and not very far in the main story. This world is so deep that it's almost overwhelming to look at and think about.

If you're worried about bugs, wait a little bit to buy this. Once patched, and stable, we will look on Cyberpunk 2077 much like we do The Witcher 3 now: as one of the best RPGs of all time.

I don't like Roguelikes generally. This is a good Roguelike for people who suck at Roguelikes.

Half Japaense Game Show (like Takeshi's Castle), half battle royale. You'll feel the rush of adrenaline when you're close to victory or just barely qualifying for the next round. If you lose, it's quick to get back into another "show". If you win, that sweet dopamine hit is comparable to any other Battle Royale style game.

It's worth $20.

This is a game best played in co-op. It supports local, online, and remote play(acts like local, but over the internet, doesn't require friend to own the game).

You are a prisoner with a weird head enslaved to collect gems and "perform in the theatre". In a whacky and poorly explained world, you will solve platforming puzzles and try not to die (or try to kill your partner for laughs) to appease a malevolent audience of dapper cats. It is fun. It is affordable, and goes on sale often, though it's good enough to buy at full price. If you and your friend are only sort of good at platfomrers, it will be even more enjoyable to watch one another mess it up.

I have played this on remote play with a buddy 3 hours away from me (by car) and locally with my 6 year old son. Both experiences were funny and enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

The game is beautiful.

The music and sound is great.

The atmosphere is immersive.

There's about 2 hours of game here if you're taking your time on the story, and it's all story with some replayability to collect everything/see every fish.

My son primarily plays this and it was the first game he's ever beaten. He still loves to come back and visit his "shark friend" and replay it every few weeks. If you're on the fence, wait for a sale. Otherwise, this game is fun and beautiful, and I absolutely do not regret buying or playing it. Get it and have a unique experience.

Friends invited me to play. They built up a nice little base while I did next to nothing. Wandered out into the wilderness alone against their recommendation. Got Sniped with a bow and enslaved in exchange for letting me live. Roleplayed as a grandma looking for her grandchild while an 8 year old called me racial slurs.

Yeah, generally I had fun.

It's fun and you should play it if...

If you like well designed shooting gameplay and fun abilities, you'll probably enjoy playing this. The game runs well, it looks beautiful (except the anti-aliasing). PvE content is robust and wide ranging. You get the base campaign and first 2 expansions for free, which is about 20 hours of campaigns and a few dozen more hours of additional content. You can hit max level without buying any DLC. You might be locked out of some exotics and weapons from later DLCs but you'll be functionally equal.

PVP on the other hand will likely evolve meta-wise and leave you behind. It's also pretty robust with new game types every week. If you're the type to get upset at losing or are not adept at FPS stuff, you may suffer a bit in PVP and have less fun. I personally stick to PvE unless I have a quest that requires playing in the Crucible (the name of the PvP arena).

You should play with friends and join a clan, if you can. There's a mobile app and reddit communities to help you find people to play with. The game is at it's best when you're playing with friends and messing around.

Try the free version. It's pretty. It's good. It's pretty good.
