I'll start by saying that I enjoyed the one playthrough that I've done so far, and it makes me look forward to other games from the studio!

The good: It's more of an atmospheric horror than a jumpscare horror, but on my playthrough (on normal) it wasn't particularly scary or difficult (and I'm a wimp in terms of horror games). I think the decision to make the camera the way that it is was super cool! This game took a lot of inspiration from the original Resident Evils and Silent Hill and it shows! The voice acting was surprisingly good for the most part, which I didn't fully expect. The environments were cool, and the premise of the game was interesting.

Now onto the... not so good: The game looks great, but in some places (especially the ending chapter) it's not super optimized and may be rough on lower end computers. The plot itself was meh, it didn't make a ton of sense and it wasn't super clear on a lot of things. It kinda felt... half baked. The game also felt less like a horror game as it went on and more of a "I'm the main character and I can kill anything" kinda vibe. There's not a ton of enemies or enemy variation either. The puzzles weren't always very clear, and for at least half of them, I brute forced them without really knowing how I was supposed to get to the final answer.

All in all, I think it's worth picking up for a short, interesting indie experience. Especially so, if you get it on sale. It's kinda janky in a lot of ways, but for a small studio's first game it's pretty solid.
