Games great, Sony s̶u̶c̶k̶s is tolerable.

For the positives, the character abilities are pretty fun, the weapons are fairly unique and fun to use, the maps are quite distinct and interesting, and the enemies are fairly varied with some cool abilities.

For the negatives, dialogue is generally unfunny and annoying, the character Ava is awful and the fact the story mid to late game kinda revolves around her is nigh unbearable, combat can be quite unsatisfying and becomes very easy with multiple people, and weapons drop so frequently that you end up having seen them all by the mid game in a hundred variations of the same gun.

If you can ignore the dialogue and enjoy kinda mindless shooting, I'd get this on a sale, but there are certainly better shooters.

Good game. The combination of battle royale with hero shooter works extremely well, making combat a great deal more creative and fun than most battle royales. The great variety of weapons and characters who are, for the most part, fairly unique keeps each encounter and the way you approach it fresh. The map variety is fairly limited, but the few that there are are expansive and well designed so it's no big deal. On top of the standard battle royal, there is also arenas which is a fun game mode that provides a great balanced 3v3 experience. All in all, a very fun and creative hero based battle royale.

Just so bad. Movement and combat are imprecise, enemies are constantly spammed, ADP is a joke, the map is a fever dream, very inconsistent hit boxes, weapons degrade and break far too rapidly, and perhaps worst of all, the bosses suck. This isn't just an okay or good game living in the shadow of it's superior siblings, it is a very poor game only made relevant by it's superior siblings. And what's worse is this is the definitive edition. The developers came back and fixed nothing substantial. I guess all these flaws were intentional. Not for me, thanks.

VERY GOOD!

This game is extremely repetitive and offensively unfunny. I can sum it all up with a mission I had to do for the insanely irritating character Claptrap. I had to kill wave after wave of the same few enemies, using weapons that were pretty much the same as other weapons I'd had throughout the game, while Claptrap told me the same joke over and over again at the start of each wave. I couldn't fathom what I was even working towards. The chance to get more of the same weapons; the chance to fight more of the same enemies; or god forbid the chance to hear more of the same bloody jokes. Not for me, thanks.

It is a brilliant fast paced murder fest.

Quite possibly the best game I have ever played. Looks so simple at first, but there's a lot more depth with all the bosses, biomes, and items.
