Those that know don't need it explained.

This game has been (slowly) worked on over the years.

My main concerned is that they are focused on too many other projects at the same time which makes updating this game slow.

Yes this is an indie studio and I am not expecting massive updates. I would be happier with smaller updates released in shorter times.

Well what can I say, a friend and I played together on a private PvE server and we finished it within 100 hours. (total 200 hours).

This game is HEAVY PvP geared. While I have no issues with those that want to PvP if a dev/studio advertises PvE then it should adjust to PvE, not to keep PvP concepts.

I won't recommend this game due to this fact until the time they put more work into it.

After all this time, the ONLY patch added adds in online ONLY DRM crap to a game that is wait for it.. single player. There is no online play, no co-op, nothing.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

What can I say.

The devs not only support linux but one of the devs actually creates this on linux native.

One pet peeve - I wish they moved to an authoritative server model.

It was fun while it lasted.

Since they "took over everything" the system has gone to the dogs. Saving world state takes literally forever. I was in a mine and I couldn't even disconnect/exit the game normally because of this.

Game devs shouldn't be running game servers - they have NFI what they are doing.

Even the first mission is bugged. And I'm not the only one having issue. Just do a search for "As Broken as My Heart" and setting up the thing to be "stolen" is in an area that is right at the front of your area and yet doesn't get stolen. So stuck and unable to progress. And yet when told "support" its "not our problem"

Such a great game. Controls are simple and easy but also a challenge at the same time.

These pricks removed Linux from NS2 making it worthless for me.

Unknown Worlds no longer gives a ♥♥♥♥ about its original fan base (back when NS was a half life mod) and wants to just roll in the piles of cash...
