What just happened.

Snowflakes won and one of the devs was a snowflake. Basically removed the dark charm to the game. Fallen to the modern world of dumb censorship.

Honestly thought it was a joke because of how it sounded... I figured out that it was not a joke

This game is fantastic. The mechanics are almost flawless and the visuals are stunning. Early access with very few bugs also.

I have seen some ridiculous reviews for this game, comparing it to Beat Saber or Rock band. I have even seen DDR in there and Im not sure why. The negative reviews are from people who put in 0.1-1.5 hours and it is really tainting the review score for this game...

This game makes you feel like a straight-badass, and I love it. It is super well made (As expected from Harmonix) and I think all the levels are very well thought out. Some of the music is not within my taste but everyone's music tastes are different. I love this game and highly recommend for anyone who likes beat-style games to play this 100%

Ive seen stuff about how this game is great, saying that other games are "Note Vomit" and how this game "Doesnt have it." It does, to put it straight and simple. They havent played Expert modes. Some of the levels are as much note vomit as any other game, but that is literally beat-style games. There comes a point to where skill has to be really great in order to hit those "Note vomits."

Ive seen some dumb stuff, saying it is too complex and that the "Sideways notes" and "Disco balls" are something that are not needed and are just there to make the game more difficult. Yes. They make the game more difficult but I feel like they are always well placed and it is something to make you feel good when you hit them because it simply takes more skill to hit them perfectly. The "Disco balls" that you have to hit. Same thing. Its something challenging to throw at your brain and make you move a bit more. It takes time to aim at a target and I feel like the ball notes are very well thought out to hit and recouperate your aim.

I have seen how the timing is difficult. Calibrate your timing. Its a Harmonix game (Ever played Rockband?) and this is the best point system I have ever seen in a game. Its challenging enough to where its very very hard to get a perfect 2000 (Perfectly timed and aimed note) so it is fair for anyone to climb the ranks if their timing is very slightly better.

People say the song selection is still limited. Well, the song selection (Without DLC) is actually really good and has many different songs to choose from. Now, there has been implementation for the installment of custom maps and I think that is on its way to make so many more possibilities for this game and I am extremely excited for it.

Also, please dont "not recommend" this game simply because you werent good at it or it wasnt your type of game. Do it out of critique if the game has flaws.

The UI can be a little difficult sometimes. Sometimes I find myself scrolling randomly and its not my controllers and a lot of the buttons are hard to aim at because it is just a faint glow of where you are aiming at in the menus. This can be very difficult for brand new players. Its very minor but definitely exists. (Maybe a way to have a laster in the menu option or default and the ability to turn it off?)

This game is phenominal and completing the campaign was breathtaking. I feel really cool all the time playing this and its honestly timeless. I play this game until my controllers die. The achievements seem very possible, too, so achievement hunting for this game is definitely something to consider. Though, the social achievement is a little odd and many would have an extremely different time achieving it. I can see it as a good advertising thing but its very odd.

TL;DR - Peoples "opinions" with their low playtime are not good critique. Amazingly well made and thought out game. Definitely give it a try and DO NOT compare it to other beat-style games.
