Probably the best free horror game you could ever play.

I've been told that of the 3 Persona Games on Steam, Persona 3 has the story, Persona 5 has the Gameplay, and Persona 4 has the Cast. After Playing Persona 4 and Persona 3, it seems like this is pretty much true.

The Graphics of P4 are definitely not winning any awards, especially when you compare it to P3 Reload and P5 here on Steam. Also note that this is just a port from the PS Vita Version of the game.

The Music of the Game is a massive plus. It has one of the best soundtracks of any game that I have ever played.

The Story of the game, while after playing Persona 3 Reload, is not as good as P3, is still a solid 9/10. Just because it isn't the best in the Persona Series, doesn't mean it will disappoint you in any way shape or form.

Where the game really stands are the main and supporting characters. They are fun, believable (for the situation they are thrown in) and they have personalities that mesh well together and have fun and unique interactions with the player. They also contain their own little storylines that are good in their own right. I can't speak for the Japanese VA's but the English Voice Actor's absolutely kill it.

Originally, the only reason I played Persona 4 was because I heard that Persona 3 reload was coming out. I had heard good things about the persona series, but had never played any of the Persona or other Shin Megami Tensei games before. Let's just say, after playing this game, I maybe bought all the other games in the series here on steam, much to my wallet's chagrin.

There are always those games that you play and then want to forget to experience it for the first time all over again. This is definitely one of those games.

Overall, I'd rate Persona 4 Golden a solid 8.5/10.
It goes on sale pretty frequently for $15 or less, but honestly is completely worth the full asking price imo.

Good Game

Despite having my reservations about the VR, both modes play very well. However, there are some problems with the VR. Sometimes the audio cuts out when switching tabs in VR. (I have a Oculus Rift s)
