Really fun game. Does have a bit of a learning curve, but most of the random players I have encountered have not been toxic at all. Devs have been responsive fixing launch issues and rolling out updates. Definitely not a game you will solo. So grab some friends or team up with some randoms and spread some freedom!

If it wasn't for the fullchrome (coop save) bug, this would be a 5 star game. currently cannot progress the main mission because of the Mutual Dependencies mission not spawning 4 Fullchrome mobs that you need to kill. Just google that and see how everyone is running into this issue. Sad bc this game had potential.

Update: Restarted a single player campaign and have been enjoying the game. Really sucks I cannot play with my crew on this game. Also, the devs put out a 650mb patch that had like 2 bug fixes in it. So if you get the game, just know the coop is glitched and the game is what it is. Single player campaign is fun though.

The just isn't fun even with friends. You can't do much. It really sucks because we bought it on sale with a bunch of games and by the time we got around to it we were outside the refund time frame. Definitely if you get this game try it out first and see what the negative reviews are talking about. You will want a refund.

It was fun for the first 7 hours that the game worked. After I failed the first campaign mission because I was messing around trying to figure out signaling etc, now the game just crashes when I try to play any level. I have updated drivers, verified game files, uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, basically everything aside from reinstalling my OS. It was fun the 8 hours I did play, but since it is unplayable now and outside the refund range, this game is one to avoid 1000%. You will just get disappointed. I run modern AAA games just fine on my rig and tested out games after this game start crashing and they work fine. Really disappointing especially since I am past the refund period. -10/10 Never have I said to avoid a game like the COVID-19 until now

Ya, used to love this game. But I jumped back on and the mechanics and everything is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥. You can't control things like crew to the level you could before. Hell, the "final battle" of the tutorial is damn near impossible. It's a shame that they wrecked a game that used to be so enjoyable and had so much potential.

Ya, got this game on sale. I though "You know, for a dollar or whatever this game should be fine." It's not. Kongregate games hold value better than this.

1) No Instructions whatsoever. I'm fine with throw you in and let you figure ♥♥♥♥ out, but when you do that and #2 on my complaint list happens, you got you a 0/10 piece of sh1T ay #1 garbage town.
2) SOooooo, fine, it's a low budget, indie dev or some dude in his mom's basement game, fine. I get it. But When you are left up to figure out the mechanics and how to actually use your monster to successfully win a city and then the game crashed and you lose all progress? I mean, come on, man. That is some amateur hour garbage. It makes the game SO bad that you can't even say "ya there are bugs here and there but it has this atmosphere... this FLAVOR!" to even pray off the hipster gamers...

It has so much potential to be a game worth a couple of bucks. If it were even polished, what I have played was not worth more that $5. But $2, or about $3.50? Ya, it certainly could be worth that IF IT DIDN'T CRASH AND IF IT WAS PLAYABLE AND IF IF IF IF

Serously, avoid like the herp no matter how cheap. I got it for cheap, thought it was awesome, and then got frustrated with the game crashing.

Early Access Review
I enjoy this game, but I have a few gripes with this early access:
Pros:
1) Great fresh idea on the game. Feels like a board game when I get my firends to play!
2) Even though there isn't a tutorial, the game is well-designed and easy to pick up.
3) It looks great. Runs on low hardware.
4) My firend was easily able to connect to me to play coop.
5) You can transfer your ship/profile across different sessions.
Cons:
1) There is zero community. It's hard to even figure out which website or forum is the dev's! Zero active community thus far.
2) You cannot control any settings for your game. Wanna change the sound levels? Nope, better crank up you teamspeak volums bc you have to play this game at the vokume levels they give you.
3) The AI is utter garbage. I get it, I settled near you. Get over it. Just sharing borders shouldn't be enough to send them into a "I must wipe you" rage.
4) When the AI has a multi front war they get an automatic peace treaty from one of their enemies. When it happens to the player? Nope gg gl you gotta fight both those MFs now.
5) The negotiations/diplomacy is pretty barebones in this game.
6) The targeting for enemy ships is messed up. Those tiny ships have to be clicked on while they fly by? Really? That is awful and needs to be changed.

Even with all those issues, the game is fun. Hopefully the devs will start updating it and a community will get going.

Edit: They have actually fixed some of my issues in the first update. They made targeting enemy ships way better, so that is a non-issue now. They have also added settings so you can change sound!

Other things they did on the first update: balanced AI aggro speed and nerfed AI starting city size. They also increased the number of ships players can control. They added another in game event.

All-in-all it's great to see the devs addressing issues in a timely fashion!

This is how Early-access should be done. The game is free to play, but you can throw the devs cash by going premium. As far as gameplay, this game is a must play. You build robots and use them to battle. It's simple, elegant, and truly creative. This little game has that special something that big name companies try to achieve.

Since they began rewriting the game, it's lost a lot of the charm that it had in legacy. Lots of things are way broken currently, so I'd hold off on this game until it is more polished.
