Vertigo 2 is an amazing game in it's own. The closest you get to a Half-Life style one, without actually ripping it off. There is so much creativity in here... Like, that it uses your steam profile image in some areas. :D

Comedy is gold too and then... there is the recent update which adds new player characters. And those essentially feel like a new game. And a map editor inside VR? What is going on? And most of it is done by a single person?

One of the greatest achievements I've seen so far and worth every penny if not more!

Great to see Compund finally released this year. For me, one of the, if not THE, best and smoothest rogue-like shooters with endless fun to have. The visuals are amazing - never did pixels look sharper then here.

Vertigo is pure love for Half Life 1 and full of amazing details. The beginning alone.. I think I just layed down in that beautiful snowy cottage. :D

The holosights from the guns are one of the best I've seen so far and even if lots of parts of the game feel a bit raw, it all comes together really well. There are just so many things where I had to stop and wonder, why nobody else is doing that. Little things like a very depth-sensitive menu, the filling vials on the teleporter-thingy, the cartoonish final video, the silent sound from the blade while moving it around your head, all segments on railsroads and those oversized credits at the end. <3

The whole mix of exploration, combat and puzzles is just spot on. Mixed with a more fluent "Budget Cuts"-like movement and the "Alyx"-weapon selection Vertigo becomes a smooth, fun ride full of wonders.

Although I like the idea of selling the sandbox/workshop functionality as a DLC, I fear that is what's holding it back as a true killerapp. A leveleditor inside VR with the ability to add external 3D models? More people should jump on that and create amazing stories! Can't wait for more!

Perfect with friends! Get together, each controlling one character - be puzzled about the story and feel the tension of not being the first to die. :) Great to play in 1 to 3 cozy evenings in the winter.

I felt the environment was a bit to linear in comparison to Men of Medan, but there went much more thought into the story, so that's cool (loved the explanation videos, hidden ghosts etc. you can find online afterwards!)

I can't remember a game which made me laught so often, just by reading text. It's more like interactive fiction, which happens to have the best graphics in the genre. Games with this length - I normally play them once. This one? I will play it again, just to see how different it get's. I want to be the drunk hobo-cop, i want to be the artistic mastermind, i want to be the brute police-law-enforcer.. Get to know this new voices in my head. :D

But seriously, this achievement is mind bending. A studio with no titles and experiences in digital games development creates one of the best rpgs to date - Amazing!

Pathologic 2 is easily my personal best game of the last 10 years. Why?
- Fixed timeline: Everything happens, even without your doing.
- Very meta: It's a theater play, often wall-breaking.
- The plague seems to be an intelligent character, you play against.
- Pushing you limits: As food gets rare, what do you do?
- There is not enough time for the quests you find (excluding hidden ones) - you have to choose, and not all are good.
- Death is part of the story.

It's amazing, what they pulled of! A game to experience, where you don't feel joy, but excitement for the medium.

Even if you don't want to build parks... Download existing ones, fantasy or 1:1 copys of real-world parks, and go on a visit. Cheaper than a flight-ticket. :) Amazing how much work the community dedicates to this game.

Doom VFR is actually a really awesome ride. Much better then expected from the number of negative reviews. It takes a bit to get used to the teleportation mechanic, but its just to nice to let those ramming demons run at you, and teleporting just behind them. Same with the shield demons. Only way i see it, they could add in smooth movement instead of blink the blink steps. Teleportation has to be used for tactics.

What really bothers me, is all hand-interactions - every time my guns switch for the hand, the hand is in the strangest positions (like pointing to one side, but the laser going straigt)..

But HELL makes up for everything. It's a fast paced, cool looking, shooter with amazing music and lots of moments to go "whaaaaat?"

I can't stress enough that this is THE best social VR environment to date, with games, mostly better then their fullpriced counterparts. Everything is not just produced with a high quality, it's mechanics, interactions and overall details are just very well thought out.

Small Game and maybe the first *true* escape room for the vive? No teleporting - just you in a small room, trying to solve riddles to get out. Accidently jumped over one puzzle altogether, so wohoo - I can play it again. After that of course, this is now one of my favorit demos for guests. Good work for just the right price. Waiting for more to come!
