i love this game!!

with a few exceptions, it's not really as hard as a lot of the comments make it out to be, but it is still challenging and rewarding to play.

play (or at least watch a video/wikidive) lobotomy corporation first!

Early Access Review
ironic, given the premise, a very shallow game

Had to stop playing because of how awfully buggy the game is.

I pick up a quest to resupply a town that needs weapons. Okay, cool. So I go to the market in that same town, buy the amount of weapons they need, and then receive payment equal to twice what I paid. What?

I pick up a quest to destroy the escort for a group of trade ships. Sounds easy enough. I sail over and destory the escort, being careful not to damage the trade ships. Easy. Problem is, the quest is still telling me to catch up with the trade ships. I sail around them, through them, several times, and the quest refuses to update. Whatever,

I pick up a quest to investigate some mysterious fog. Neat. I sail into the fog. Nothing. I do circles in the fog, sailing through every inch of it over a good ten minutes. Nothing. Alright, then.

I pick up a quest to kill someone aboard an empire ship, amongst a group of empire ships. I use the spyglass to look at each ship, as the quest instructs, until my first mate tells me which ship has the target. Problem is, the ships are all grouped up, and the target is not marked in any way. As the quest says, I'm careful not to sink any of the ships, and board all of them, killing everyone on each on. Quest is still telling me to kill the target.

Does the game have potential? Sure.

Is the game close to living up to that potential? No, not really.
