This feels like the original Life is Strange. Wonderful storytelling, with a hint of horror. Definitely jumped a few times, but i'm a scaredy cat.

It takes a little while to pick up, but once it does you will not want to put the game down.

Tape 2 has come out.

I am a little disappointed. Everything below is spoiler territory.


We never learn anything about the abyss and what it is. The only other name I got from the abyss or the leader of the ravens was Celine? And that was it. I was expecting a much longer tape 2 but it was only 3-4 hours long compared to the first 6-8 hours. There are so many path splits that it's difficult to know where you messed up / how you got that ending. For me, i got the ending where Kat & Corey fall into the abyss. Turns out there are around 9 different paths for THAT CHOICE alone.


In the graphic side of things, the hands felt rushed. Characters were not holding things properly and Corey, who I thought was a good voice actor kinda started to fall a bit flat at the end, especially his screams. Dylans face when she is upset and crying does not move. Her face does not wrinkle like I feel it should've. I would recommend tape 1 a hundred times, but tape 2 is only good for one playthrough.

This game is a masterpiece.
I highly recommend trying out the demo, just to get hooked on it.
The music is beautiful, the art style is gorgeous. It has breaks for comedy. It is a lovely game and worth the price.

Firstly, a stunning game, very beautiful and I saw what they were trying to do.

I LOVED THIS GAME AT FIRST, AND YOU SHOULD WATCH A PLAYTHROUGH AT THE VERY LEAST BEFORE READING.

The ending was a disaster. It makes it worse when you see a bad ending and next pops up, "Max Caulfield will return." They prepped this game to have a sequel instead of just finishing the damn story line or leaving it off on some sort of cliff hanger. Now, if you want to experience the whole story, that's gonna be another 4-6 years!


Anyway, to the real spoiler bit.

What was the whole point of chapter 5 in terms of Safis character arc, if she just... completely ignores EVERYTHING Max told her? She saw what happened, and saw the damage and thought, "Oh! yeah, that's fine!" How was there this bad of an arc that the character doesn't even learn from it?!
