Genuinely too short for it's cost. The game came to a relatively abrupt end, there is an achievement for finishing the game within 2 hours to make the point.

It's a game made around the gimmick "you are a cat" and nothing more. Maybe a good entry game for non-gamers.

One of the best games I've ever played. Straight to the point, very good atmosphere with the pilots on the radio and downing enemy pilots feels great

I actually liked the game, but the price as it is now is not justifiable for the fact the developer has abandoned his game and not listening to the playerbase. The game doesn't respect your time and thus you cannot fast forward, the developer knows of this but refuses to change the game for his players as you are "playing his game and you can choose not to".

That's fair enough, so here is a reason you could choose not to.

Seems to be a decent mix of some Soulslike and Zelda, if you like the idea of not knowing where to go or what to do and instead having to figure it out from some pages in the game then I'd recommend this game to you. It doesn't hold your hand, but it isn't hardcore difficult, I think this is the type of game you recommend your friends to play blindly - I followed another review and played without looking anything up, and it seems I still have a lot more progress to make in the game after my time so far. Couldn't imagine how the game would feel if you spoiled anything by looking it up, so play BLIND and have fun :)

This game is extremely buggy even a few months after release, and not in a goofy funny way that you can continue with, but in a game breaking "cannot continue" way.
Tried to play this with my friends several times, whoever wrote the MP code/syncing needs to be replaced - multiplayer is a buggy mess. A good game breaking example that happened often was simply trying to move a body, it resulted consistently in the player being stuck in a carrying pose, unable to do anything but walk around and thus unable to complete the mission.
Another is the combat, which is not the point of the game - but a friend can be slashing the enemy in the back and not register any hits ever. Not in a latency way, but as in if one person is engaged in combat with an enemy, an ally cannot connect with a sword strike.

I overlooked the graphics from the Xbox 360 era, because I simply don't care about graphics. But to release a sequel, that shows 3 characters on the front cover (hence advertising itself as a multiplayer game) and being this broken in MP? That isn't really forgivable.

If you want to play it alone, buy it - if you want to play with your friends, buy something else.

I played the original flash based isaac, I am playing the new C++ based one.
It is a game that will never get old, good ol' Northernlion is still playing it after over 3000 hours.

My hero nearly died, his lover became a gem eyed one shot ranger and his friend lost her hand instead of her life. Later the wolf god curse restored her missing weapon hand into a death dealing claw and the trio became the strongest group to ever roam the lands.
Now they are some folk tales, but my main hero remains a local legend - renowned for his ability to one shot up to two enemies that dare to tread anywhere close to his allies.

10/10, campaign 1 was great and I can see the replayability value.
Small tip: Play with permadeath as I did, it makes the story much more authentic rather than trying to craft the perfect tale of no mistakes.

Stole some unborn children, beat the mother first of course - chopped off her tail and broke various parts of her off too before finishing her off. When she died I plunged my knife through her stomach to secure other goodies. Then continued with my abduction.

10/10 Dino murder/kidnapper simulator.

Oh and it has good combat, tracking and a crafting system I suppose..
