From @MATUMBAMAN ( Dota2 pro player) said: If I had a kid who started playing a lot and wanted to be a pro, I would be a bit against it too, like I've been studying, I tried to study to become a sea captain at the same, and it requires a lot and you have to make a lot of sacrifices. If I just got a kid and he was looking to make esports his career I would tell him/her to study . I wish he/she wouldnt blindly pursue this career in esports, like if you wouldnt get it... and only a fraction of people who aim to be at the top will get there so I wouldn't recommend it. And the money like... there's a lot of professional teams but only the best three will get most of the money.
