If you do not want to read this entire review, let me sum it up quickly. In its current state, its an amazing solo experience, and an even better multiplayer experience. I genuinely recommend paying the 28 euro to buy the game. But I will not forgive system ERA for implementing a cosmetics store within game transactions.
I have been playing this game for a long time before there were trees and moveable units. It has been a joy watching new content being added consistently and it seems each update is very well thought out. I can tell the team behind this game loves it and it shows.

Had I reviewed this game 2 years prior I would have said to wait on it, but I can safely say now that every penny I have put into this game counts. It is always fun starting a new world, and fully completing it. I will admit it does get a little grindy, but you grow in your ability to harvest material and fabricate material as time passes. My one gripe would be that this game does not have much replay ability (unless you have friends). Meaning if development stopped today and this version was the finished product, I would probably put in one last run. Although I find myself coming back to this game every six months, every time there’s new content to surprise and challenge me.

I think a big addition to this game would be adding a little variety to the starting planet, I understand there is a very well thought out progression system in place. But I thoroughly miss the sandstorms we used to have; I would not mind if before starting a world there was an option to add just a little more danger to the starting planet. whether it be forests filled with resources but littered with deadly plants, bringing back sandstorms. Hell this wouldn’t make things harder, but it would be cool to have a “final planet” in the outskirts of the solar system which harbored oxygen but required a lot of fuel and a high tier rocket to get there.
Also, this isn’t a solo game, I really recommend playing this game with friends as it brings you so much joy having to work together, this is where my comment on replay ability is discarded, with friends this game completely changes. I have had times where me and a friend discarded two others and blasted off to another planet to go our own way. The possibilities are endless.
Finally, I am genuinely disappointed in the addition of in game transactions to buy cosmetics. I would not have minded it if you could grind and earn qbits necessary to buy cosmetics. But avoiding hacks in a single player game is hard so I can see why that is not a thing. I get it, something needs to keep the lights on, but man it hurts to see you do this system ERA.

Devs don't care about the players and are trying to get as much money as they can from the players. New update is worth 80 million which translates to around 600$ for the new dlc. They also offer no way of making money fast and then when they double payouts they take all the earned money away just so one of the players will buy a shark card.

I have invested ~500 hours on pc and 600+ hours on mobile and I have to admit this game is amazing. Its hard to hit a challenge barrier in this game where everything becomes eazy that most other survival games have such as minecraft, rust and astroneer. This game also has a well made multiplayer and is usually way more fun than playing alone.
