Since the day Steam introduced trading cards, I've become an avid collector of emoticons, not especially the rare ones, but the ones that I like. I usually buy these emoticons at the marketplace and rarely from traders. Some of my emoticons were crafted and some I had received from my group members years ago as a gift for give-aways and stuff before gems were introduced and became a thing. I've never sold a single emoticon at the market nor made them into gems and I never will.
