Black Mesa is an absolutely amazing recreation of the original 1998 game, Half-Life. What started out as a passion project eventually transformed into a full-time commitment to bringing us Half-Life fans the HD remake we deserve.

I was a senior in high school when the original mod released in 2012, now I'm a sophomore in college. Time flies, and until today, I was counting down the days of the Steam release, as well as constantly going on forums and searching high and low for leaked screenshots and other goodies related to Black Mesa.

Overall, the Steam version is more or less the mod version, but with improved weapons, sounds, models, textures, etc. Everything you loved about the mod version is kicked up a notch (with flavor!)

The multiplayer is also totally worth playing. Six iconic Deathmatch maps bring us countless hours of fun, frustration, and Crowbar Collective-made awesomesauce, and by intergrating Steam Workshop support the amount of custom community-made maps will flood the Workshop page within the next few days/ weeks!

Black Mesa also comes with a sweet SDK that allows you to make user-generated content in general, and as stated before, upload it to the Steam Workshop.

Well, what the heck are ya waiting for? Quit playing the game you were playing before, go buy Black Mesa, and play the crap out of it! It's a gaming experience you won't forget, and SHOULD NOT miss!

Friends with blatant cheaters like Cadmus Sthyel...sorry, "Hope". Don't trust this rat, cheaters usually run together.

Hey I don't come on here a lot, but should more often. Just wanted to say hope the game you've been working on is going good!
