This game isn't just one of the very few well done simulations for what civilizations in the space age may become but it also is a delicately built platform for exploring the many fictional and directly scientific universes, worlds and concepts created and deduced by fellow humans in one interface. Atop that, as an RPG World Builder and Game Master, this is THE best tool I can recommend to anyone who wishes to create believable sci-fi settings and especially factions with little effort. Easily my favourite Paradox Interactive game.
