Voting with a 'not recommended' at this moment because GGG decided to neglect POE1 in favour of POE2. False promises, lies and literally no date for a new league. Thanks GGG for killing the best ARPG that exists in favour of a downgraded game that needs a looooot of work to be on the same level as this.

Path of Exile 2 is a massive disappointment, stripping away what made PoE1 great while offering a soulless, watered-down experience in return. The endgame is an absolute mess—uninspired, grindy, and lacking the depth that made mapping and bossing fun. Worse, GGG's obsession with PoE2 has led to blatant neglect of PoE1, leaving long-time players with a worse experience on both fronts. Instead of refining and expanding on the ARPG masterpiece they already had, they’ve gutted it in favor of a sequel that feels like a downgrade in every way.
