Since the update its actually quite a fun game. I pre-ordered it at launch and, like most, was quite dissapointed with the outcome so didnt really play all that much. Since then its had a few rather large updates that have really added a lot to the game. Base building is satisfying, feels pretty decent, and produces some pretty nice bases. I like the challanges and missions you can get from space stations and stuff. Everything feels more alive than before. Ringed planets add a suprising amount to a solar system so no longer look quite so bland. I've yet to try multiplayer but from the looks of it it sounds fun and would help greatly with the more grindy aspect of mining and collecting materials.

My main issue with this game are the sentinels. Think GTA police that are near impossible to escape so your only choice is to keep fighting them till they outnumber you and you die. I've read forum posts that claim that the more you progress the easier the fighting gets, however, i cant see how. At five star wanted level, or whatever, an indestructable freighter spawns in that continually spawns waves of fighter ships. Anyway, if you're careful this shouild not happen very often.

The game is fun and interesting and from what I've seen so far there is more than a lot to do. With blueprints, missions, freighters, base building, and etc youll have plenty to do. If you like games like Arc survival then this is exactly the kinda game for you.
