10/10 would kill chicken again.

Let me just start off by saying, no this game isnt perfect, yes some missions are repetitive and apparently there are technical issues.

But we are all missing the point. People stating that the missions in this game are reptitive dont have a love for rich backstory and should go back to call of duty. I read one review stating that 'Lincoln is one-dimensional, he's like a psychopath with no real explanation for why he's killing everybody all that we know is that the mob betrayed him and now he's out for blood. Other then that there's nothing.' This is completely false in my opinion. From the moment the game started I felt a strong connection with Lincoln. Most of his story is told through beautiful cutscenes and gameplay. There are also external sources to get a little more backstory. The Development of the other supporting characters like Giorgi, Vitto, Cassandra, Burke and last but not least the games main villain, Sal Marcano. In a alter DLC we will also see more development on Donovan.

People comparing this to Mafia 2 will always rate the game badly. You have to come into this gamewith an open mind. Having played all the Mafia games, Mafia 2 is more of a linier story with every bit of the game being divided up into chapters and it also controls you alot more in missions, so therefore its not a true open world game. Mafia 2 is a Masterpeice, but it also came from a more seasoned developer (2K Czech). This game also added alot more features, such as the ability to call in AI hitsquads to assist you on your ventures.

That brings me onto my next point about repetitiv gameplay. The game isnt meant to beplayed in one way only. You are supposed to change up your playstyle, try new things. Hangar 13 has left alot of assets for the player to use in the abse game, and more on the way in DLC.

The DLC of this game stands out fromthe crowd. 35 USD is an etremely reasonable price for a season pass,compared to Call of duty's 60 dollar season passes, and Destiny's 70 Dollar AUD expansion that became irrelevant.With 3 Story DLC on the way in the next season, the season pass is a real steal. Id Compare it to the Fallout 4 season pass, which is 15 dollars more and still came with a similar amount of story content.

Final Rating: 8/10, good game, just a few things that could have been approached differently.
