i forced my siblings to play this game with me to feed my climbing addiction. we didn't get far but we managed to enjoy the game without shouting at each other, a win in my books. i also found out how racist we truly are.

10/10 would force my family to buy and play a game on the spot again.

I would recommend this game only after I've suggested 10 other puzzle games to you. The atmosphere of the game is calm, the artwork is cute, and the simplicity of the puzzles are nice way to unwind after a long day while still encouraging your mind to think. The controls are kinda weird in the beginning. It's not the best and it's not the worst, but I think you can get used to over time. It could just be me but I couldn't figure out how to exit the game without forcing the program to stop from outside the game (if that makes sense), and my escape key wasn't doing anything which is kinda goofy.

The controls for sliding (/rotating/enlarging/shrinking) anything is butt. The speed between your mouse and the output showing in the game is different (example, the slider to change the time in the main menu). Once you spin your whole object, it takes a couple more seconds to figure out if sliding your mouse left would rotate the part clockwise or counterclockwise.

I have yet to try the other levels but if the tutorial felt this weird, I don't have high hopes of relaxing to these puzzles.

edit: i found the way out of the game, im just blind
edit 2: after completing the whole game, past me was right. you get used to the controls to the point that you don't think about it. i do think it's still wonky, but it's ok.

Early Access Review
*plays with partner and friend. this is partner's first game. gets many loot. friend jumps the gap for fire exit*

friend: be careful there's a spider here!

me to partner: lets not jump the gap, we got stuff and we might die. lets just go back to the main entrance. i know the way

*turns one corner and see mr shadow man. turns back around and runs*

me to partner: RUN. RUN. DONT ASK QUESTIONS. RUN.

*we both make it over the gap and past the spider that camped the exit*

10/10 would endure spookiness for the company

-> is a pro, gets friends to play for laughs, haven't played in a while
-> works really well with a lot of people because of memories
-> someone suggests playing in our native language
-> chaos ensues because our second language knowledge is ass
-> friend describing a symbol as "pound sign" instead of "question mark"
-> roasts friend for being worse at the second language than me
-> manages to complete a bomb
-> friendship is strengthened
