The Finals is a great pick for a F2P shooter and a nice change of pace in the PVP shooter genre.
The game focuses on teamplay but without overextending matches like most other team-focused objective shooters. The destruction mechanic is very engaging and destroying whole buildings and finding ways to use the environment to your advantage is extremely fun.
The devs actively listen to community feedback and share very in-depth development updates.
The game is plagued with the standard monetization tactics of the recent AAA trends.
Everything that can be bought is cosmetic and the game is very enjoyable without spending.

Overall a very good FPS that stands out in this barren modern AAA/money milker PVP landscape.

I mean it's defo underrated and deserves a sequel or a remaster.
Made me crave for space shooters, so that's smth.
The only gripe is the loot box system which didn't give me all items despite opening 6000+ cases (no money was spent).
Wish the multiplayer (lvl fast file error kicks everyone on start) would get fixed but that will prob never happen.
Defo fun to play even now and grabbing some dudes from the dead multiplayer and doing priv matches.
The idea of weapon variants is a nice change of pace and the story is fun.
Zombies prob in the upper echelon of the series in terms of quality.

Grab it if it is on sale for 17$ and grab season pass if you feel like it.

Darkest Dungeon is a game of loss and painful decision-making and manages to capture the fear of loss, experimentation and satisfaction in a way that had me clinging to the edge of my seat during each of my play sessions.

As many pointed out before me: This game is not easy and will seem unfair here and there, but the reward that is presented to the player makes it truly worth it. There was never a moment that truly felt dull or fully controlled. Enemies could always get lucky crits, dodges or deathblows. The fear of losing your beloved heroes forever and having to regrind levels is always lurking. Despite this, the player has always the chance to work around these factors to an extend and the game actively rewards trial and error or experimenting. Preparation and keeping one's own overconfidence in check is the true key to success in this game.

The story that is presented next to the stellar gameplay, is truly fascinating and until the end one can't stop following its plot in absolute shock and awe.
Of course one can't overlook the modding community of this game. Be it new classes, tweaks, skins, new dungeon or enemies or even entire stories. There is truly something for everyone.

Darkest Dungeon has to be one of best games I've been lucky enough to play and will probably be on the top of my list of my most respected game series and experiences.

10/10 - truly a masterpiece and worth every penny, entertains with its catching story and unique playstyle
