TL;DR - A lot of potential, a lot of fun even as is, but poor description of this game makes it hard for me to currently give a Yes. If you are tentative on this, I suggest you read the rest of my review. (If you want to add me and ask questions, feel free but comment on my profile in a way that I know you aren't a bot.)

First off, I know this game is in EA and I also enjoy it a lot. If you understand how this game works and like it, buy it! I bought it because it looked fun and I wanted to support these dev's.
Teardown fails to tell you exactly what it is on the store page. It explains the clients and your business, but it doesn't explain the fact that it is all a time-trail based game, always 60 seconds, and focuses on running the quickest route to try and complete heists before the security helicopter comes and busts you. There are few actual demolition missions. The "Teardown" aspect of the game really does become minimal IMO as you go.

Otherwise, you can destroy things on Sandbox or Challenge modes, but even for people with great CPU's and GPUs, beware of how laggy this game will become due to the physics of this game. Mass destruction can bring massive lag. (Also, if you are hoping for multiplayer in time with this, think again for the time being).

The failure to explain this game fully and the lack of people actually calling out the lag issues that plague the destruction aspect of this game, requires me to not recommend this as of now. This has a lot of potential, but I don't think it is going where a lot of people want it to go because of the limits this type of engine brings to things like multiplayer and modding so far, as many of the mods bring on even more lag.

Pros
-Unique looks and physics.
-Good mod-ability (however, be careful for lag).
-Interesting and sometimes challenging Campaign. (Not too easy and sometimes hard).
-A LOT of potential.

Cons
-Failure to explain the game well.
-Lack of actually Tearing things Down.
-Destruction can cause extreme lag, even on high end PC's.
-Repetitive game-play without much of a sense of achievement.
-A Campaign that for some may result in having to use guides to get through it.

No. Game is broken. Don't play this until they fix it and actually tell us it is fixed.

For people having issues downloading, try relaunching steam and updating, or just relaunching in general before trying the possible fix below.
(This has worked for everyone that I have talked to so far, IRL friends who I helped. Thumbs down if it doesn't work for you.)

1.make sure the base game is DL'd.

2.go to your library and right click on Fallout 4

3.go to Downloadable Content tab

4.uncheck the box for the textures DLC

5.run the game and turn off all your mods, then quit the game.

6.Restart steam

7.Check the box/simply look at your downloads by right clicking on "library" and clicking "downloads" on the bottom.

8.It should be there dling now. Make sure to check the box no matter what, before running the game.

9.Make sure your mods are all up to date and you should be good. Some mods won't be compatible until updated.

10.Other texture mods conflict with this. Not updated ones that are different skins and whatnot, but other 3rd party versions of similar mods to this. Disable those.

I hope this has helped you get playing on this great looking developer made mod. It is how I and both my friends, were able to download it. Good luck, and have fun!
