Game is fun, but:
1. Community and developers are transphobic and bigoted. Try searching for the word 'trans' in their Discord server and see what you'll find :)
2. Performance is quite bad on Linux. It's perfectly fine on Windows, though.
Good game, otherwise.

Fantastic game. I haven't seen anything that does what Deathloop does. Arkane once again proves that big name studios can still innovate.

I love this game, but the community is uniquely horrible. It forces the player to not only disable chat, but avoid every single semblance of a community possible.
Too many trolls. Too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
If you're openly LGBTQ+, avoid this game like the plague that it is.
I wish I could recommend it.

Edit: I returned to this game for a bit.
Community is still filled with Capital G Gamers. I am unsurprised.

Edit 2: Devs are neck-in-neck with Torn Banner's Chivalry 2 in the not-getting-updates competition. This is fine, as long as you enjoy the Gamer filled game.

This is the best game to make mods for on Steam. The level editor is fantastically simple and powerful, to the point where you can go a very, very long way with just the editor and a small knowledge of scripting.
The game itself is fantastic. Combat is satisfying, hilarious, fun and varied. These are probably the best ragdolls in the indie market.
The main storyline, as others have said, isn't all too good, but if you're looking for a proper plot, the Therium-2 campaign is (in my probably biased opinion) much better.
