Banger of a game!

Just an average day in England

As usual the intro gave me goosebumps again.

After two games my main boy Smoke is finally back!
Also the story mode in this game is amazing.

The first time ever that arkane dissapointed me, they are my favorite developers and I liked all there games until this one.

It feels like this game was literally made for me. As a huge fan of immersive sim games like dishonored this game is amazing.

An immersive sim detective game with a randomly generated city. Set your own goals solve murders and do other quests. All of this in again a randomly generated city all citizens have a schedule/house and information to find out about them. Want to break into a apartment to find some evidence? Wait until the owner is at work so you can sneak in using the front door.
Or you could just pull the alarm so everyone is gone from the floor and walk in and quickly grab what you need. Or if you are feeling ballsy sneak in using a vent while they are watching TV in the other room. Or you know you could just go for the least illegal way of doing things which is knocking on the door and asking them if you can take a look around (if they let you).

I will probably play this game for hours and never get bored of it. It also helps that the setting is perfect for me.

One of the best singleplayer shooters I have played in a long time!

I have never felt more conflicted about a game.
On one hand this game has great presentation, story and some pretty fun open world activities.
On the other hand the game is short, the combat is repetitive, and the other half of the open world activities are very grindy.

The worst about all of it is the performance, played the game with an RTX 4080 and an i9 9900k and still I couldn't get above the 100 fps.

Basically I wish I liked this game more than I did because I love japanese folklore and mythology. Sadly this great concept for a game hasn't been executed well. If they ever make a sequel I hope they make the combat more fun and maybe ditch the entire open world thing.
