Nice little streamlined civilization game.

I also enjoyed their other game, Heroic Hour. This game is more of a 4X TBS style, whereas Heroic Hour is more of a HoMM3 TBS style

One of my favorite 4x games. Quests keep you on your toes. Regions help taper down on settler spamming every square inch of the map. Combat has strategy if you want to fight it manually, or you can auto-resolve for faster play. Factions are very unique. I just wish factions had more units.

I liked it more than I thought that I would.

I think the fun of it comes half from the randomly generated worlds but half from the feeling that everytime you login you're improving the world in some way. Every time I logged in I just did what I felt like doing. Maybe it was mining out the area around my base, or building a farm for a certain type of resource. Maybe it was to kill a boss, explore a new part of the map, farm a specific item or upgrade. Great fun!
