Bacon is a meat product prepared from a pig and usually cured.[1][2] It is first cured using large quantities of salt,[2] either in a brine or in a dry packing; the result is fresh bacon (also known as green bacon).[3] Fresh bacon may then be further dried for weeks or months in cold air, or it may be boiled or smoked.[1] Fresh and dried bacon is typically cooked before eating, often by frying. Boiled bacon is ready to eat, as is some smoked bacon, but may be cooked further before eating.

Bacon is prepared from several different cuts of meat. It is usually made from side and back cuts of pork,[4] except in the United States and Canada, where it is most commonly prepared from pork belly (typically referred to as "streaky", "fatty", or "American style" outside of the US and Canada). The side cut has more meat and less fat than the belly. Bacon may be prepared from either of two distinct back cuts: fatback, which is almost pure fat, and pork loin, which is very lean. Bacon-cured pork loin is known as back bacon.

Bacon may be eaten smoked, boiled, fried, baked, or grilled and eaten on its own, as a side dish (particularly in breakfasts in North America) or used as a minor ingredient to flavour dishes (e.g., the Club sandwich). Bacon is also used for barding and larding roasts, especially game, including venison and pheasant. The word is derived from the Old High German bacho, meaning "buttock", "ham" or "side of bacon", and cognate with the Old French bacon.[5][6]

In contrast to the practice in the United States, in continental Europe these cuts of the pig are usually not smoked, but are instead used primarily in cubes (lardons) as a cooking ingredient, valued both as a source of fat and for its flavour. In Italy, this product is called pancetta and is usually cooked in small cubes or thinly sliced as part of an antipasto.

Meat from other animals, such as beef, lamb, chicken, goat, or turkey, may also be cut, cured, or otherwise prepared to resemble bacon, and may even be referred to as "bacon".[7] Such use is common in areas with significant Jewish and Muslim populations, both of which prohibit the consumption of pigs.[8] The USDA defines bacon as "the cured belly of a swine carcass"; other cuts and characteristics must be separately qualified (e.g., "smoked pork loin bacon"). For safety, bacon may be treated to prevent trichinosis,[9] caused by Trichinella, a parasitic roundworm which can be destroyed by heating, freezing, drying, or smoking.[10]

Bacon is distinguished from salt pork and ham by differences in the brine (or dry packing). Bacon brine has added curing ingredients, most notably sodium nitrite, and occasionally potassium nitrate (saltpeter); sodium ascorbate or erythorbate are added to accelerate curing and stabilise colour. Flavourings such as brown sugar or maple are used for some products. Sodium polyphosphates, such as sodium triphosphate, may be added to make the produce easier to slice and to reduce spattering when the bacon is pan-fried. Today, a brine for ham, but not bacon, includes a large amount of sugar. Historically, "ham" and "bacon" referred to different cuts of meat that were brined or packed identically, often together in the same barrel.

I really recently started playing this super high graphics intense shooter recently, and was impressed.
The 4,000,000x2,000,000 pixel display really puts a devoted and loved look into this heart wrecnching and fantastically brutal but gorgeous game. Even the story and gameplay are fantastic. With extremely intense and nonforgiving bosses and enemies in this game, it adds a whole new level of gaming experience to all players out there. One incredible unique part of this game is the eye clasping mouth watering sunsets. I could gaze into that horizon for hours ...
I think this game shouldve gotten game of the year 2015.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is an online first-person shooter developed by Hidden Path Entertainment and Valve Corporation. It is the fourth game in the main Counter-Strike franchise. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was released for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on August 21, 2012. The Linux version was released in September 2014. It features classic content, such as revamped versions of classic maps, as well as brand new maps, characters and game modes. Cross-platform multiplayer was planned between Windows, OS X, Linux, and PlayStation 3 players, but was ultimately limited to Windows, OS X, and Linux because of the differences in update-frequency between systems. The PlayStation 3 version offers three input control methods, which include using either the DualShock 3 controller, PlayStation Move or USB keyboard/mouse.

This game is so freaking amazing! One of the unqiue things about it that it requires strategie, unlike most other shooters. It's one of the most intense and realistic FPS games I've ever played, it's great fun if you want to have a quick shoot at each other when you're bored.
I don't have many hours on this game, (42 and counting) but I still think it's super fun :)
I definetely recommend this to EVERYONE!

This game is quite scrumptious.
When this game came out, I didn't know much of it. But one one day when I was browsing the store for free games (cause Im so poor) I saw it and downloaded it. It's AWESOME! I've spent 150+ hours on this game and Im still always excited when I find an Alice Pack in a military base.

Singleplayer

The singleplayer has always been a big part of Unturned, and has always been fun. The thought of surviving on your own with no one out there to help you is daunting. One minor thing though, is that sometimes when player single player you can get quite bored and slightly lonely.
From me, an NPC addition would be awesome. But single player's still bloody fantastic mate.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer wasn't a massive thing in early Unturned. Yes, you could do small local LAN servers with your friends, but there was never really any big community servers hosting PvP kits and Hardcore modes. When multiplayer came out, it was awesome. People would host amazing servers containing mods and all types of stuff. It's really amazing, and I reckon a lot could be added to multiplayer over time to make the best and most fantastically slurpalicious mode ever.
