As a long time Mount & Blade player I can't recommend the game right now.

The singleplayer is a buggy mess with many big issues.

Entering Sea raider camps CTD
Entering Pen Cannoc CTD
Closing out after some battles CTD
Looking an NPC the wrong way CTD
Sometimes dialog with NPC's does not allow you to select dialog options resulting in a restart
The list goes on and on

I have faith that the developers will fix all of this in the future as it is after all in early access but for the time being the game is simply not worth playing.

I'm going to follow the development and return in future when things have improved.

I made a policeman eat a piss soaked doughnut and then proceeded to explode his head with a sledgehammer.
