Before Phasmophobia was released, there weren't any good horror games; some were a hit and miss and others were a complete miss. This game came along (lead by a single developer) and absolutely dominated the horror game industry. Here are a few reasons why.

Positives (+)
- For a game made on Unity, this game exceeded my expectations on what could be made on such a simple Engine.
- Sounds are unique
- Each ghost have their own trait
- Ghost Models are unrealistic, but it sure is terrifying to see as they manifest
- Heartbeat sounds create the illusion of making you think it's your actual heart falling out of your chest
- The transition from an outdoor environment to within the home with its ambient low-pitched noise does help with the immersion, rather than having no sound until the ghost comes along
- Spatial communication, interestingly enough - this was one of the main reasons as to why I actually got into this game in the first place.
- Engaging, you won't get sick of it.

Negatives (-)
- Shift running basically increases your walking speed by 1km/h, it's only a slight speed boost and I think it should definitely be increased
- On some games, you wouldn't be able to move between cameras when pressing on the keyboard / mouse in-game.
- Communication issues (not sure if fixed) - when alt-tabbing out of the game, voice comms will break and you would not be able to communicate with either your teammates or ghost. The only way to workaround this is by alt tabbing again and clicking on the game in your taskbar.

Other than those points, I think this game is very well made and definitely one of my go to pastimes.

10/10 would get choked with my hands backwards again

played this game during quarantine. already planning my spot to hang out alone when we're back at school because they've lost faith in me :<
