back in the day, before steam decided to change everything about the old ui for no apparent reason, your login (not to be confused with your username like it is today), was displayed on the upper right of the interface in large mode.

and that bugged me, because you could not, and still cannot change it.. ._.

in short: no ._.
in long: just because the reason to make a new account isn't there today, doesn't mean i don't use my old one anymore. and even if i wouldn't, i'm not gonna give up my og steam account. it's a piece of nostalgia to me and thus sacred .-.

i'm sorry. while i am generous and even did grant people that wish in the past, i no longer want to risk my old account over a funny pistol that you can pretty much buy a vintage variant of, on the vast amount of trading sides out there. (yes, family sharing the game does require both parties to be logged in to their and the other one's steam account at least once on both ends) ._.

i pretty much use it to family share the games that i haven't gotten for my new (main) steam account, to myself. i also sometimes use it as a 2nd inventory for games like tf2 to keep the one on my main more organized. or sometimes for the sh1ts and giggles of trading back and forth items between the two, to create funny remarks in chat xD
