Changed my review because of Sony being Sony, mandatory linking of third party accounts when the game was perfectly playable during the months this has been out is not okay and not good enough.

April 2011: Hackers Access Personal Data of 77 Million Sony PlayStation Network Users
May 2011: Personal Details on 25 Million Sony Online Entertainment Customers Stolen
June 2011: Sony Pictures Website Hacked, Exposing One Million Accounts
November 2014: Hackers Steal 100 Terabytes of Data from Sony Pictures
August 2017: Hacker Group Accesses Sony Social Media Accounts
September 2023: Sony Investigates Alleged Hack
October 2023: Sony Notifies Employees of Data Breach

♥♥♥♥ linking playstation to steam.

I've spent a long time trying to write a proper review for this game, so here goes:

It's a pretty cool survival game, you should play it, probably.

The best way I can describe my experience playing Horizon Zero Dawn is by comparing it to the experience of going to a restaurant. So lets start.

The restaurant Called Horizon Zero Dawn opened a while ago, but it opened in a country that was exclusive to residents of the Country of PlayStation. Which is a real bummer, because when you look at the pictures, food and gameplay this restaurant look out of this world, to die for! You envy the people that get to eat there, "If only I splurged the money for PS4 residency" you say. You try to avoid conversations and online websites about the restaurant, since you really don't want to have the food spoiled for you, it has to be fresh, should you ever get the chance to consume it!

And then, at last, your patience is rewarded! "Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to all residents of PC as well!" You hear, and you are overjoyed! All this waiting, avoiding spoilers and starving yourself for this restaurants food has been rewarded! You make your reservation for opening day and hours before the restaurant launches, you are already waiting in line, predownloading the food to finally play, uhh, eat.

It was everything you had hoped for it to be, and more. The food looks better than it ever could in the country of PlayStation, because your PC country obviously has better graphics. The Gameplay tastes fantastic, and tying everything together is a storyline between courses that is so beautifully and masterfully told, that you can't wait until the next course arrives.
While you are being fed more and more of the delicious storyline steaks, you start wondering: "What's the dessert going to be? Will they be able to cook together a satisfying conclusion to this experience?"
Plate after plate, it keeps improving, it keeps getting better, until finally, a dessert which you have never seen before, such grandeur! The sweet chocolate sauce dripping from the edges of the already amazing tasting storyline, the layers of explosive combat jelly between the exquisite sheets of dialogue cake! You eat it, you savour it, it's breathtaking, OH THAT LAST BITE... wait, why is there anchovies in my cake? ANCHOVIES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! WHO DECIDED HAVING ANCHOVIES AS YOUR LAST BITE WAS A GOOD IDEA?!

Those anchovies, that analogy, is what I felt when I realised the game takes you back to the point before the last mission, leaving you wanting for a proper conclusion to your efforts. No celebration, no nostalgic conversation with survivors about what a ride it has been. Just, a loop that you're stuck in untill you're tired and sad that the cake was a blasted lie after all...

So, all in all: 9/10 would ride robo dino's again.
