Gearbox's inept (hopefully due to mismanagement) development team really ruined a perfect game with gamebreaking bug lists longer than added features list, for little reason other than the executives ego to own a new ip. They really took a page out of Bethesda's book and ruining a four year modding community. Hopefully someone out there can provide a downpatched version of the game.

Finally got around to playing the game after all of the optimization patches and beat it in one sitting (i left on chapter 2, there's 8 chapters total). Beautiful game but it feels like its sitting in the shadow of deadspace 1+2 but with worse fighting & puzzles (and it honestly felt more like a resident evil game than a dead space game). Enemies feel like big pinatas that you sometimes can throw off a bridge and kill instantly or sometimes spend your entire inventory worth of ammo shooting at. Although the story premise is intriguing it wraps itself up in a boring and simple way. There's a lot of promise that the game simply just doesn't capitalize on.

I enjoyed my time playing it but for only 10 hours total this game just honestly doesn't feel like money well spent.

edit: my computer did try to kill itself when i launched this for the first time (MEGABYTE 3080ti gpu) but after fiddling with the nvidia settings it became a game and not a fan rpm stress test

game was good when icefrog was balancing then fell off a cliff when they added shrines, outposts, neutral items, aghanim shard. bring back pre-reborn dota please

everything upto the first boss isworth playing. everything after that is a mess that just consistently gets worse culminating in the most awful platforming sections in the whole game. Don't be surprised if you find yourself missing walls and ziplines over and over and dying to the random ai of the basic enemies.

i love the concept of this game but i cant play it because it gives me too much anxiety
