Absolutely beautiful, fantastic combat, great writing, and story. There's really nothing about this game I don't like maybe aside from having to travel the whole map to get somewhere else, but it just adds to the immersion of playing in a Feudal Japan. I would absolutely recommend this masterpiece of a game.

I wanted to like this game, really I did. I even funded this on Fig.co, back in the day. While the graphics are amazing, the camera, is well garbage. The story is also very short for the Campaign, I remember playing 2 and the Original, and the campaign then took me days, if not weeks to finish, this campaign takes at most 9-10 hours, with no real replay. The other modes included including the Rogue like game mode I have literally 0 interest in, as well as MP. I don't even do MP, so there's no point.

Sadly in conclusion, while the game is visually beautiful, it lacks the charm of HW 1 & 2, Plus you can't even build strike craft in groups like you could in 2. Only one at a time, which is dumb, to me at least. If you're dead set on getting this wait for a significant sale.

No, absolutely not. It was fun before PSN Account linking was De-facto enabled. Now, it's a dead Game Jim. Move on to something else.

Basically a really smooth version of Ace Combat, with no DLC, so far. It controls very well using a mouse, I was actually surprised at how much I enjoy the mouse controls vs my controller. Only downside I find is the no checkpoint system, when you die, you restart at the beginning of the mission, which can be severely annoying on the longer missions. All that said, if you enjoy games similar to Ace Combat, you'll love this game.

Do you like space games? Do you like space combat games? Do you like RTS or RTT games? If you answered yes to any of these you'll love this game. I never played the originals, I never had a good enough computer or computer period to play them back in the day. Though I heard many stories and tales of how good it was. Like you Stranger, my eyes were blind to the glory that is the Homeworld franchise. That is until I bought Homeworld - Deserts of Kharak, I loved that game and still love it today, it's basically the prequel to this game and it tells an enthralling story. So intrigued and loving RTT games and space combat games, I bought it when it was announced. Now I understand why it is so acclaimed and why after so many years, we are finally getting a new one soon. It is the trophy of Space Combat, streamlined, beautiful, and easy to pick up and play, if nothing else than for the mods. Want to play in the Star Trek Universe? DONE, there's a Mod for it, what if your less science and more Force? Well they have a great Star Wars mod too.

DO yourself a favor stranger, obey the will of Sajuuk and buy this game!

An absolute masterpiece to the Homeworld Collection, tells the story of how the Homeworld Franchise even came to be, and giving you that great RTS feel. If you've ever played the Homeworld games the controls will be familiar and easy to navigate, even if you haven't they are still pretty intuitive.

I have to say this is a great game for the Homeworld franchise, especially as a prequel to the original games. Absolute must buy.

This is possibly the best Squad based RTS I've ever played, dare I say even better than the Men of War series. It offers a wonderful balance of base building, RTS style squad battles, and a night/day cycle as well. During the night your men see less and can use torches to light up the way at the risk of you becoming more visible to enemies as well. I sincerely have no issues with this game, it looks beautiful too, and you can zoom all the way in to watch the battle in a floating third person camera. Several Campaigns to choose from, from Norse, German, and Polish. As far as timeline is concerened, you'll be strictly in the middle ages, I would like to see more from this game in the future, maybe like a more future war(s), like the 1700's or even WW2, Modern would be interesting as well, anyway, this game is awesome you should deff get it if you are a fan of RTS.

This game reminds me of the RTS games of old especially the original Sudden Strike, but with better graphics and mechanics. Though I do wish you could still run over enemies and they would actually die, but that's a small matter. Other than that minor complaint the only other thing that bothers me is that there seems to be a rather short SP campaign, and a very small amount of points to deal out to your commanders. Neither though is game breaking in any way, the campaign while not long is fun and the graphics are good. Though I never considered them to be a deal breaker anyway.

Overall I'm entirely happy with my purchase and hope there will be more DLC content soon, especially more campaigns if nothing else.

Early Access Review
A beautiful homage to 80's, and early 90's hero action flicks, explosions, carnage, and most of all ridiculous fun. I have encountered a few small bugs mainly when going it multiplayer with up to 4 friends Co-op. Usually the camera gets stuck instead of following everyone. That aside, it's a very fun and amusing game, especially with friends. The Campaign is a blast, in more ways than one, lol. All said, this is early access, though, so expect a few minor issues, nothing that severely hurts the gameplay however.

All said, a few minor bugs, nothing completely game hindering and a ton of fun. Especially Co-op. An absolute must have.
