its mid as f***, third best kh game with a 3 in the title but its on steam now

i like it but i suck at fighting games and have no idea what im doing 98% of the time, most of my time played has been in training and challenges

ive bought this game four times now, just for the single player

i havent put much time into the game yet, but it already feels very good to play and thankfully it runs well on modern hardware. if youre having issues trying to run or start the game, make sure to download the c1-launcher mod.

typing feels very satisfying and actually helps you improve, the house of the dead half is also fun. ive never seen this game go on sale in the many years it sat on my wishlist though

tl;dr buy it on sale instead of full price

i hate it, but its okay? its basically taking pieces from previous heists (in some cases quite literally where the layouts are almost exactly the same as those other heists) and putting them together into a new one. i dont know why its all in one day when it could have just split both halfs of the heist into two days. the only reason i can really think of is just as a means to prevent ecm rushing.

border crystals is just a worse cook off tho, the map is way larger and more open which means you are attacked from every side as you have to traverse half way across the map to get some ingredients then come back and cook them. i didnt get any instruction on how to cook, i just tried out the recipe from day 1 hotline miami and it worked since locke wasnt giving any instructions. the map is too open from enemies to come from every direction and snipers to obliterate you when you try to leave the building.

border crossing is ok despite me hating it in some ways, border crystals is just terrible.

it has its issues, though minor, and combat can be pretty tedious after a while, but its still a great game and worth playing the entire series
