As bad Commando was it's prequel (this game) is suprisingly good.
I wanted to play this legaly since it came out in poland in 2011
It's a fun run&gun acrade-i shooter, if you want some mindles fun pick this up.

The good:
- The in-game music
- Low end pc friendly
- Run & gun action

The bad:
- dump AI
- Cheap rocketeer and grenader enemies

Still have a cd copy of this and a sealed cd copy aswell, but only the steam version has auto-fire and mouse controls.
Ultimate childhood pc game and first pc game of my life.

Fellow gammers and shmup fans and X universe veterans you must try this!

What a putrid sequel to a legendary game, this is awfull. The last stage was an advertisement to the developpers other game NUX from the level itself down to the enemies everthing was a ctrlC ctrlV from NUX. Screaming eyeballs alien uclers to pop under horror music inside an alien. This was nothing that the Original Platypus' dev wanted Athony Flack the developer of the original game was discusted by the sequel. Even the final boss was copied from NUX. Not to mention the constant anoying references to NUX ie protagonist ship in the background, that laughing bastard from the nux logo on stage one.

The ENDING IS A BLATANT NAG SCREEN TO BUY NUX, this is not worth your time.

AS much as i loved the original i hate the sequel on the same level

Go and get Platypus 1 THe ORIGINAL if you want a good game.
