Having experience with many other asymmetrical co-op games, Operation Tango is just as good as genre hits like the We Were Here series, and maybe even better.

A majority of the game is talking though puzzles with you co-op partner, while each of you only has half the information. The most appealing part of the game is the spy theme, where you'll defuse bombs, and evade guards. Timers put you on the clock, and they pressure the Hacker into sifting through the information faster to keep the Agent alive. Though there's no punishment for failing and the checkpoints are generous. If that sounds fun then the game is for you.

Compared to We Were Here (the second one), the game is a similar length (3-4 hours), and has a similar complexity. None of the puzzles were harder than We Were Here, and there's a hint system in case you get stuck. I would have liked to see Operation Tango utilise the Agent role more, as it plays very similar to We Were Here's roles. You don't shoot anyone or platform about, and your never get tested on your movement skills, but that's not much of a downside and makes the game accessible to older, younger, and disabled gamers.

The game was buggy at launch for about 6 hours which explains the inflated amount of negative reviews. When we experienced bugs and quit, the bug fixes were ready to download. The Devs had already updated them within 6 hours of launch.

A sequel or more DLC would be greatly appreciated,.
