Well as someone who came late to the Stasis party...

I really enjoyed this game. It's less 'horror' more 'psychological thriller', a haunted house if you will. The interface is simple, and takes a matter of minutes to understand the onscreen prompts, and the visuals are wonderfully done (now we need an HD remaster). Figuring out the 'puzzles' can be hit and miss at times though, but you could say that's part of the charm/challenge of this game, either way if you like an atmos'fear'ic point and click, you will enjoy this title.

For fans of the classic Road Rash this game bringsd back good memories, smashing my brother off the road as a kid always made me smile. The "RPG" elements of permanent upgrades are cool, and the idea of a storyline to drive the game rather than only one off races makes this more than a one trick pony.

The online play is ok, but like many online games matchmaking seems 'off', this could easily be caused by the numbers online tho. Online play with randos. for me at least, isn't the main reason to play, it's the 'couch co-op' with 4 way split screen!

Having played this from Early Access to release, this game will always be there for "Super quick fun play time"

update - since posting this review, I've played more, and I've come to the conclusion that while there are a number of people playing this game, the multiplayer would be better as a 'shared experience' type - what do I mean with this? Well rather than a unique mode, players are dropped into each other's storyline mode (replacing an NPC), so a shared gameplay for a level or more.
