At this point in time, I just can't recommend this game anymore. Between the absolute dog-ass weapon balancing decisions and unwarranted nerfs... And by far the absolutely asinine tweaks done to patrol spawns that absolutely screw over any solo or duo players... it all just makes things not even fun anymore. Things have just become so tedious, and I'm getting rather sick of seeing this whole "souls-esque" nonsense about making games hard for the sake of being hard. Sure, I could lower the difficulty, but then ya know, ♥♥♥♥ me for wanting to get rare and super-rare samples for upgrading my ship.

Now to the real crux of my negative review, and its aimed squarely at the corpo-asshats at Sony. You're really gonna pull this stunt with the PSN requirement this late into the games life? You're essentially gonna Thanos-Snap tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands players off of Super-Earth and not even bat an eye at it. How dare you screw these people out of their hard earned money. "Oh its for hardening our security in both the game and network!" Straight BS.. If you took security seriously, you wouldn't be host to countless data breaches, especially the PSN breach of 2011. Account Security and Sony is one of the most oxymoronic statements of the century. Backtrack on this requirement now, or Democracy dies on May 30th... Slick move on updating your EULA yesterday too, like you think the community wouldn't notice.

Further more, Arrowhead and Sony are both guilty of fanning the flames of this dumpster fire, by doing little to contain the damage. The discord was full of absolute tone-deaf responses to an understandably shaken and angered community. "Oh it only takes 120 seconds to make a PSN account". Really? What about those people I mentioned earlier, who literally can't make one because the PSN isn't supported in that country and they'll auto ban you if they find out you used a VPN to register. Maybe it will open your eyes if Steam starts allowing for refunds due to these special exceptions. Ya just couldn't help but kill the Goose that laid the golden egg. A+ Marketing Strategies, lemme tell ya.

Maybe I'll adjust this review to a positive one in the future, but not before the PSN requirement is withdrawn. Arrowhead, you also need to pull your heads out of collective asses and come back to Super Earth. Your balancing choices on patrol spawn rates made no damn sense at all, so its time to stop getting high on your own supply and instead breathe some damn oxygen for a change.
