People keep saying "If you want something to play until Hades 2 is released, try this"...and they have a point.
"Warm Snow" does have a lot of similarities with "Hades"...and that is a compliment.

In comparison to "Hades", this game is only weaker when it comes to storytelling, but I think partially fault for that is translation.
Everything else is on par with "Hades"...and in some aspects might even exceeds it.

Visual aspect of the game is lovely.
Game mechanics by itself is also simple - melee attack, ranged attack (flying swords) and it's recall (that can trigger a special skill) and ulti attack.

But here is a HUGE twist - melee weapons come in various quality (from common to mythic) and they can also have passive bonuses. You can equip up to four relics (and depending on which position you put them, they can trigger various bonuses and ultimate attacks) that also come in various quality. And you also have perks/traits that you can gain through gameplay (you can choose 1 out 3 offered). This opens almost unlimited possibilities on builds and the most fun aspect is that they can be quite unpredictable (in a good way).
Plus, every time you die, you gain skills points for upgrading three skill trees. Collecting artifacts can unlock permanent bonuses. You can also upgrading your swords in terms of quality and bonuses. And game also offers some additional game modes.

And it will be a challenging game, especially last two levels.

Overall, absolute recommendation for this game and it easily became one of my favorites in this genre and I am looking forward to possible "Warm Snow 2" in the future.
