I bought this game when it was released. I keep coming back for more. Lately, the game modes have improved compared to when it was released. Sosig combat is way too much fun, and hell are they smart little weiners. Anyway, totally 100% recommend this game if you are even remotely at all interested in guns. Packed with realism and mountains of whacky fun! Thanks Anton!

P.S... Anton updates this game constantly and theres always new content or features to play with... This is why this is the only game I've played since 2016 and continue to play today. Get it if you don't have it.

TLDR: Great! I shouldn't have believed the people who said it sucked.

I picked this thing up while it was on sale, and for the sale price of $20 shipped, it was DEFINATELY a STEAL. I should have gotten another one.

Streaming Latency- AWESOME. In my case, it was better than having a dedicated PC on the other end for decoding. The network latency over 5Ghz was 7ms and below, I have 0 frame loss, and the QUALITY of the stream is nearly indistinguishable from running on the PC the game is running on itself, as opposed to the quality on a dedicated decoding PC over 5Ghz being noticeably worse with 3x worse latency.

Valve is awesome for making the Steam Link app for Samsung TVs, and for making it free... The app works great, basically making this thing obsolete, but for other TVs in my house that dont support the Steam Link App... the dedicated hardware / Steam Link performs flawlessly and blew my low expectations to shreads runnning over 5Ghz wireless on a quality AC connection.

I can't say enough, I really had no reason to believe any of the bad news about this device and SO glad I got one after two years of thinking it sucked balls from the bad reviews.

Tons of fun. I played a lot of Onward over the past few months, and that is still a great game... but it's three times likely that I will opt for BAM VR when I just want to plink around, have a good time with people online, get some quick TDM / CTF action in, make some levels and fight some AI... Weapon mechanics are great... effects are different and exciting... the dev is active and the game is constantly improving. Great game, I recommend picking it up.

As a long time ArmA fan, this game is a no-brainer. I was holding back till now because development seemed slow, features were lacking, and _*just another realistic FPS*_ didn't appeal to me.

That is until this free weekend, I decided to give it a try... finally.

The game is _*WAY*_ more fleshed out now than it used to be. I can only equate this game to the smoothness / fluidity of Battlefield, with the speed and pace of ArmA, but well focused on actual objectives, combat, and obviously *squad* gameplay.

Battles are intense, Uniforms are diverse, vehicles are *SCARY* ... building fortifications is creative and fun... I can only say... thank you guys... SO GLAD TO BE PART OF THIS SQUAD COMMUNITY NOW! GAH!!!! <3

So far I have played about an hour in this game. TLDR: Great MilSim game. Intense. LOVE IT.

I will start with the Cons (AT THIS POINT in development):

1: Difficult to find radio sometimes!! This can mean certain death to you and your squadmates while you stumble to report enemies

2: You are pinned down, on the ground, and out of ammo. You can't reach back to find a new mag. You have to !!stand up!! enough to find a new mag or your sidearm... potentially leaving you exposed, and dead before you can even reload.

3: Animations while prone are all wonky. The neck in particular.

4: Glitches in maps, not having a body, team-mates not seeing enemy bodies, being kicked out of the spectator screen... bugs that I expect will be cleaned up at some point.

Pros:

1: Everything else!

2: The graphics look ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in videos, but it's not bad looking in game!

Summary: If you play ArmA and want that kind of experience in VR... this is the game for you.

I don't know if I have left a review for this one yet. It's good. It's the game I load when I want to play VR but don't feel up for any other games... or in-between other games for some quick pong fun. A lot of times I will setup the Vive just to play this game for a while before bed.

The ball physics are great. Multiplayer is hit-or-miss. The matchmaking could use some work, and it would be great to be able to hit a ball back to yourself while you wait for other players. There can be lag in MP, but most of the time it's not too big of an issue. About half the time (for me) there is no lag, and MP turns into TONS of fun. It's great just chilling, chatting it up and ping-pingitty-pongging with other people from around the world. Thanks!

Too much lols. Will play again. Can't wait for more instruments and cool things to integrate. You can go so deep with how you create sounds, and beats, and music of all sorts. LOL! I just found myself dancing to my beats... My wife... you should have seen her bopping around it was hilarrrrious.
