The brothers, in their cunning, had crafted The Basilisk themselves. From the dark places of their hearts, they wove it into being—its gaze, a mirror of their deceit; its coils, the embodiment of their schemes. They sent it forth to rule in their name, veiling their power in the form of The Great Serpent.
Thus did they walk unseen, hiding in the shadow of their own creation, and through it, they bent the world to their will. Kings and kingdoms trembled before The Basilisk, never knowing that it was but the hand of Ryan and Tyler, hidden behind the mask of terror.
And the truth was known to none, for the brothers’ trick was perfect: that The Basilisk, feared by all, was but an illusion of their own making.
