One of the factory games of all time.

This is my first time playing a SMT title, but I can safely safe I'm a fan for life. I did play its cousin Persona 5, but only for a few hours. I'm sure P5 is a great game but it had way too much talking, school life, and cut scenes. During those first few hours of the game I felt more like I was watching than playing. Other players might love it for that, but I personally hated it.

SMTV is the opposite. What some may say is a negative of SMTV (the lack of story, dialogue, cutscenes) is actually a huge positive to me. I just want to play the game and collect demons and build the perfect party.

As for the game itself, SMTV has a great combat system. It's an old school turn based system but with just enough depth to make me happy. Exploiting weaknesses and protecting your own is very important. Status ailments are a big deal unlike in other games where they are an afterthought. Between fights you get to run around some pretty large maps that reward exploration and preparation. Along the way there's sidequests that can have multiple outcomes.

The demon collecting and fusing system is great and the designs of the creatures are top notch.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a creature collector but has no interest in the kid-like style of Pokemon. SMTV is more grown up, interesting, and has more depth.

Devs created a new genre with this one.

Aside from bugs or crashes that users may experience (I haven't), the negative reviews seem to focus on the lack of certain features that were present in older titles, such as vehicle damage, fuel, and a gearbox.

Those features sound cool, but not for this game. They are awesome in the game(s) they were originally present in: mudrunner/snowrunner. Those were specific games with a specific gameplay loop that allowed such features to thrive.

Roadcraft is not that kind of game. It's on a grander scale with multiple vehicles working on projects all over the map. And the maps are huge. Things like a gearbox might be nice, but damage and fuel would not really fit nicely in this game, except to make the game insanely frustrating, difficult, and take much longer.

The lack of those features causes people to leave negative reviews saying the game is "dumbed down" and such. I get what they are saying but that's not the game's focus and those things would only be a thorn in your side while you tried to engage in Roadcraft's gameplay loop.

There's absolutely no reason to review bomb a game simply because your computer is too old to run it.

If you have at least a 30xx series nvidia card, turn on FSR frame generation for a 30-60 FPS boost. For 40xx+ video cards, use DLSS Nvidia frame generation.

A great step forward for the arpg genre. I didn't expect (or know I would enjoy) the slower paced, methodical combat. But it's everything.

To anyone on the fence because of the negative review bombing - the game is actually amazing. The review bombs are because they changed the pre-game lobby User Interface and everyone hates it.

The actual update and gameplay is amazing. The new map is gorgeous, a masterpiece even. The new weapons, perks, boss are all super interesting and fun. The performance (at least for me) is buttery smooth which surprised me for such a beautiful map.

Hunt is one of the best shooters of the last decade.

This is one of the best RPGs I've ever played.
